Borracho Tacos was founded by Christian España as a way for him to share his passion for the fine art of Mexican dishes. His passion for food started at a young age. Growing up in Los Angeles, Mexican culture can be found in every facet of life, especially the– bold flavors found in the food. As Christian grew more familiar with the way various Mexican dishes are made, he began adding his own twists to the traditional plates.
During the spring of 2011, armed with only his ambition and a single plancha, Christian started Borracho Tacos. Starting off small, catering to friends and family, word quickly began spreading about the great food and service. Motivated by the joy excellent food brings to people, Christian is constantly looking to find ways to improve and grow, and has grown Borracho Tacos from a small side gig to his full time venture.
When you love what you do, you will never work a day in your life, and since starting Borracho Tacos, Christian feels like he’s been on an extended vacation!
